Had this gorgeous little boy (and his mum) come stay with me a few weeks ago and he couldn’t quite crawl yet so I could get some shots without him getting away from me! He has since perfected crawling so I guess next time I try to get shots will be a lot more energetic 
Just thought I would share what I eneded up entering for the Canon http://www1.canon.com.au/worldofeos/Photo5/ Competition. I don’t have any thought to it actually being a competition more an excuse to get the creative juices flowing. I had fun and can’t wait until next year

Photo Brief: PORTRAITURE - Were given these cardboard glasses and had to incorporate them into a portrait style photograph.
Photo Brief: PRACTICALLY BLACK – Only requirements were use a minimal amount of light
Photo Brief: SPLAT – Use paint and show it splatting. I squished a paintball with my thumb.
I recently entered the Canon EOS Photo5 Photography Competition and one of the sections was ‘Practically Black’. So I talked a couple of friends to come and sit by the river late at night with angel wings on so I could take pics with only the light from the half moon present. They aren’t perfect but I love how they turned out. Only photoshopping on them is turning to B&W and the borders/watermark. I had a great time. Thanks heaps Shona and Geoffrey. Next time I will have two pairs of wings so you two dont fight over whose turn it is! 
3 year olds are so much fun! I never thought I would utter those words but I had the best day out with Kiana and her mummy. Have a few photos to go through but here are a few quick pics till I can narrow down my favourites. Not an easy job let me tell you!
My son due to various reasons refuses to let me take photo’s. Usually he runs and ignores me or pulls super smiley faces that make him look like a clown This day I collected a heap of different bubble utensils and set him up on the trampoline while I sat playing with my camera. I think it lasted maybe 15 minutes and finally near the end I got a shot I am so happy with. I tried some hard duty processing and personally I like the result. Thanks for looking
